TUBE sleeve

Tube sleeve customization requires the following four pieces of information: 1. Material selection for the tube; 2. Dimension drawings or physical samples of the parts; 3. Length of the tube; 4. Selection of the plug.

1. Material selection. Generally, PVC or PS materials are chosen for the tube sleeves. PVC tube sleeves are easy to shape and process, and have a low price. Most customers choose PVC material for IC packaging tubes. The disadvantage of PVC tube sleeves is that they do not meet the halogen-free requirements. If the customer has halogen-free requirements for the tube sleeve, then they should choose PS material for IC packaging tubes. PS material IC packaging tubes meet the halogen-free and Sony SS-00259 requirements. The disadvantage of PS material IC packaging tubes is that they are much more expensive than PVC material IC packaging tubes.

2. Part dimensions. For tube sleeve customization, it is necessary to provide part drawings. If the part drawings cannot be provided, providing 3-5 physical samples of the parts is also acceptable. Our company designs suitable packaging tubes for automated production lines and long-distance transportation based on the part drawings or physical samples.

3. Tube length. There are two ways to choose the length of the tube. One is that the customer directly tells us the length of the tube. The other is that the customer asks us to determine the tube length based on the number of parts that need to be packaged for one tube.

4. Plug selection. The plug for the tube can be a rubber plug or a rubber nail. If a rubber nail is chosen, a hole needs to be drilled, and an adapter nail is used to block the tube opening. If a rubber plug is chosen, no hole needs to be drilled, and a suitable rubber plug is selected to seal the tube opening.
